This natural Ethiopia is every bit of the intense fruity flavor profile one comes to anticipate from the birthplace of coffee. At our light roast, the notes of peach and blackberry emerge throughout the cup as it cools. By roasting this light, all the wonderful acidity stays forward and pronounced in the cup and culminates in a very clean medium-bodied cup. Our preferences on this coffee are the Aeropress or pourover, and if you have one, a siphon will give you the absolute sweetest fruit flavors possible for this particular coffee.

The Worka Cooperative was established in 2005 and currently has approximately 305 members. In 2005, the cooperative joinedthe Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU), an umbrella organization established 2002 to support a sustainablecoffee supply from cooperatives in the Gedeo ethnic region of Ethiopia. There are twenty-six other cooperatives affiliated withthe YCFCU totaling more than 45,000 members
