Description
This is a Semi-Washed process coffee from the Dutra Estate farms in Brazil. The Dutra estate is made up of 5 different fazendas spanning a total of 764 hectares. All coffee is manually picked and varieties include Catuai, Mundo Novo, Catuacai, Pacamara and Icatu. Growing altitude ranges from 700-1350 masl and coffees are screen 16/18. Producers for this crop are Ednilson Alves Dutra and Walter Cesar Dutra, who were also featured in last year’s BSCA (Brazil Specialty Coffee Association) competition for natural coffees, where they took 10th place.
This amazing Brazil results in flavors of chocolate, caramel, dried cherry and almond at medium roast. The body of this coffee is pronounced and solid with a depth of flavor that is sweet and chocolatey.
