While visiting Sao Paulo, Brazil, we met Nilton Almeida Jr., and fell in love with his coffee. While he contributes some of his coffee into the local cooperative, Alta Mogiana COCAPEC, for processing with his neighboring coffee growers, THIS coffee we offer you has been set aside and is farm-direct.
While the cooperative effort is something we very much support, Nilton’s farm, “Fazenda Sao Francisco”, has produced such a rich, chocolatey cup that we are offering it exclusively, and not blended with the neighboring farms.
The result is a rich cup that is so chocolatey that adding cream may cause you to think you’re drinking chocolate milk. Truly, an exceptional coffee, and an operation of farm owners and laborers where everyone seemed to be one big family.
